Help fellow Dems ensure they are not victims of "exact match signature" and other voter suppression shenanigans.
Early and absentee ballot voters will never know if their votes are being counted in this election if they don't check this out NOW. After the election is too late.
Tick-tock...1 day and counting.

(27,995 posts)She's been checking online for the past week and it's been saying 'awaiting verification'. She called today and was told that the elections warehouse requested to see her envelope/signature, and but haven't yet. She was then told that she could go in person to cast a provisional ballot, which she did and said "Even though I scanned my voter ID card, which has my current address, they still required I work with an attendant to show another form of ID!"
She also reported that 3 other people in line were voting with provisional ballots. One woman brought THREE forms of ID but it still wouldn't take. One man was told that he was removed from the registration lists and then was told to bring 2 utility bills.
But fortunately my own early ballot was verified last week.

This just makes me so pissed! Would you mind taking a moment and doing a copy and paste of what you wrote above into the replies of the story under General Discussion? I've been messaged by a few bloggers who put out the same type of story after reading that one and they are following. Between them, they've racked up over 100 readers telling them of similar horror stories. Thank you so much! We're down to the wire now.
Also, I'm trying to find out if AZ is still holding to the catch-22 law regarding if you vote by provisional ballot and then your early ballot shows up, the whole thing gets thrown out. That's gone back and forth in the courts and now I've lost track of where it stands for this election. Do you know anything about this?
Geez, I hope your niece's vote goes through. AZ doesn't have a good track record on the provisionals. Grr!

(27,995 posts)I don't know about that catch-22 law, but she was encouraged to vote provisional when she learned that her PEVL ballot was in an election warehouse. Lmk what you find out about that.
