Phoenix police under scrutiny -- 5 Phoenix police issues the DOJ will investigate

The allegations the department outlined track with the claims of people who interact with police: activists, protesters, victims and their families. 


The Justice Department announced Thursday that it has opened a far-reaching investigation into claims of abuse, excessive force and discrimination by Phoenix police.

Inquiries like this typically involve years of investigation and any outcome is far from clear.
