I tried to watch "Only Murders in the Building"

On my daughter's Disney/Hulu account. There are so many commercials it's hard to follow the story. I may quit while I'm ahead.

1. Hulu has gone apeshit w/commercials. WORSE than the major networks.

3. The show is only thirty minutes long

And I think there were three commercial breaks, each at least two or three minutes log. Almost as annoying as a laugh track.

2. I watched a few episodes but I'm not a big fan of either Martin or Short.

4. I can relate, Paramount+ is the same way.

I recently got it and I'm watching Picard and Lower Decks (Strange New Worlds is next when I'm done with those), and the number of commercial breaks and commercials within them is maddening. Thank you, MAX, for not putting me through that.

5. Can you record it and fast forward through the commercials? Oh, never mind--Hulu--yeah that's a real problem...

Admittedly, I adore Martin Short and Steve Martin. Selena Gomez is fine, but her delivery of lines is curious to me as she does so in such a "flat effect" that she always sounds bored or like a teenager, "somewhat contemptuously above it all.' I keep thinking that will change in subsequent seasons, but if anything it seems worse.

Still, I love Martin Short and Steve Martin together and they keep getting incredible guests and cameos on the show.

Then I have to pay extra to get the ads cut out. Damn Amazon Prime does the same thing. It's a shame those businesses can't seem to make enough money.

watching Steve Martins character bumble thru todays technology was classic Steve Martin. This is my first time watching Selena Gomez and shes adorable!! Martin Short, Meryl Streep and Tina Fey are great as well...
