New show, Tulsa King. I'm not a Stallone fan and this one got me with the "hook" .

Mafia guy gets out of jail and goes to Tulsa. Ok this seemed like something bland but the first episode got me.
So Stallone goes to Tulsa, sent by his "Don". First nite in Tulsa and he hooks up with a lady at a bar.
They spend the nite together and she freaks out when she finds out how "old" he is. Ok no biggie so far. Turns out she is ATF out on the town with some friends. He is a Mafia guy..
She finds out who he is and the ride starts there. How is this gonna play out..
Ahh the hook, they got me. How is this gonna play out?
So far at three episodes it still has my attention.
Anybody watch this? What cha tink?

I saw it go by and don't especially care for Stallone, either. But I've watched everything else so I will give it a go. flying_wahini Jul 28 #1

I liked it. There are some amusing moments with the "fish out of water" storylines and Stallone seems to be enjoying himself.

I watched the first season on paramount +, waiting for season 2. I see that season 1 is on regular TV now. Worth every minute.
