Big plot hole in Amazon's new Jack Ryan series...(spoilers of ep. 7 and 8)

If I am incorrect, ples. let me know.

Binging on the show, ep. 7 has Suiliman telling Samir his mother is dead????
but in Ep. 8, he tells Samir he will soon be re-united with his sisters and his mother.

Of course Samir finds out later in Ep. 7 Momma is still alive, but Suiliman does no know that?

stating his mom was alive.

Sulliman told Samir his mom was dead, but he didn’t say he ordered her killed. Samir was told that Sulliman’s enemies had killed her.

Sort of filled in the blank that Samir told his dad the good news.

Saw the pilot episode. Good grief! Seemed like one explosive fiery massacre after another! Felt like “The Carnage Hour” or some such thing. Yikes!!!!

I gave up.

Eagerly.

I also thought there was too much boom-boom versus plot at the start but if you stick with it, the story gets much more intriguing
