And you are correct; in this photo, the sun is somewhere over to the right. In a few days, the moon will be full.

I'm not sure about the sun being somewhere behind us when the moon is full. But I've never thought about that, so I could be wrong.

I never really noticed the specks of light before. I wonder what the source of those are. Great photo, Peggy!
