(46 posts)So glad to take part again in one of my favorite past times,Has been very stressful caring for my Dad and relocating back to Canada,I was in Maine and love the state but Canada is home.

My Uncle Howard, a pilot with US Military Transport during WW III, returned to Canada, in the late 1960's, where his grandfather had been born, but left for the US in the 1860's. Uncle Howard is buried in the family plot in Campbellford, Ontario.
Your photo is especially poignant for me.

(27,014 posts)We visited Turkey several years ago. While crossing Istambul's famous Galata Bridge one evening, I noticed this great view of Hagia Sophia, which was originally a Byzantine Cathedral but was converted into a Mosque.
