We drove around Rhodes to see some of the antiquities that weren't covered on our tour. There had been recent rain so the flowers were out in force, some already posted. These are the plants in the ruins pictures.

(22,456 posts)I remember the smells of the sunshine on the hills, the white walls of the houses, the bright colors - the Aegean sea and the blue/blue sky. And the wild flowers. Thank you, OC for refreshing some memories.

I read elsewhere that the WH Rose garden is being bulldozed for a tennis court..unverified,however, but ruins and flowers surely come to mind.

No plans, just wander.
