I like the lines and the colors.

I think it'd be a bit more dramatic if the contrast was increased, and/or a bit more saturation. Make the blacks really black, and the non black parts pop out a bit more.

Also, it could be sharper.

I do think it is interesting, though. Good job on stopping and seeing the potential.

of a Japanese garden design with multiple lines representing texture and the importance of how natural light and shadow give changing perceptions depending on the view and movement of the beholder and as the light of day moves.

As a young man it was an awakening in thought for me to understand that the term "garden" did not have to be the sole province of vegetation and that "life" and "movement" can encompass stationary objects.

is one that makes YOU happy, unless it's for a client of course
I like it, although a little muddled (for me), but I think that is from what appears to be a window with wire mesh, so you might be right about being there for context
