(2,843 posts)Always a favorite to play with the band. There is a particular guitar line at the very end. It's kinda tricky but when I got it right in front of an audience, the crowd reacted and I just loved that. Great song.

(76,713 posts)I HAD to learn this solo. It is so tasty. I fell in love with that 2nd position pickup selection on the Strat because of it.
My wife & I saw them on the 2nd album tour.
Got really lucky with the tickets. 6th or 7th row, dead center, at the Uptown Theater in Chicago's north side.
A 10-12' wide orchestra pit, 5 or 6 rows, and Mark. We were about 25' from him when he was singing.
They opened with this song.

(1,226 posts)Dire Straits came back on state for their encore, played maybe first three chords from "Industrial Disease" and switched to something else. Industrial Disease is one my favorites.
Bob Seger concert and he didn't do "Fire Lake"
