The docuseries is compiled from nearly 60 hours of unseen footage shot over 21 days, directed by Michael Lindsay-Hogg in 1969, and from more than 150 hours of unheard audio, most of which has been locked in a vault for over half a century. Jackson is the only person in 50 years to have been given access to this Beatles treasure trove, all of which has now been brilliantly restored.
The Beatles: Get Back will premiere on Disney+ on November 25, 26 and 27.

(20,870 posts)I have to put up a monthly fee to access all kinds of Disney crap that I don't want to watch.
Motor Trend+, HBO Plus, Discovery Channel +. These streaming channels are getting out of hand and too specific.

(20,870 posts)It includes cell and land lines, "extended cable" as well as HBO because they always have one thing on that I like. I can't imagine paying for more "deals".

I looked into getting YouTube TV instead of my cable provider, but I have to admit, I was just overwhelmed with all the options and decisions and all that. Gave up on the idea-- maybe next year.

(20,870 posts)He gets this, that, and the other channels cheaper, but he can't afford certain channels I take for granted. All Cleveland Indians games for example, without paying for an "expanded sports" package.
Ala carte programming is going to raise the cost of viewing, just as they intended. How long before we have to swipe a debit card for each & every show we want to watch?

(4,598 posts)So no local news and sports, which was a deal breaker, really.
Plus it's ... internet TV. So I'd still be dependent on the cable company (which provides my internet).
I'm too lazy to do much more research. I just want things to be easy!
