Alan Jackson dominated headlines when he played his final show in Nashville, but he is not the only iconic country music act to recently say goodbye.
The Nitty Gritty Dirt Band played the final show of its All The Good Times: The Farewell Tour, on June 18 in Denver, Colorado.
The performance marked the end of the groups 60-year run.
The Final Bow, the group wrote on Instagram alongside a photo of them all, arm-in-arm, facing the crowd following the show. What an incredible, emotional night at @missionballroom in Denver. Huge thanks to our amazing guests @alisononbanjo, @tommyemmanuelcgp and @mollytuttle. What a run weve had. Stay tuned. More to come over the next few days. Love yall. NGDB.
The band followed that with another message on Instagram on Monday.
Thank you to everyone who came out for the All The Good Times: The Farewell Tour, that read. It was truly an amazing celebration! We ran out of tour shirts and posters at some shows, so we now have them available for pre-order on the NGBD store. Get yours at the merch link in bio!
The bands trek came to an end after it celebrated its 60th anniversary with a show at the Grand Ole Opry in Nashville on May 13.
The final show was not only the culmination of a remarkable run for the band but also marked the end of the farewell tour that began in 2024. The band decided to extend its tour into 2026 so that it could celebrate its 60th anniversary of playing together.
