And what a lovely way to send your mother home.

As good as Horn was a slow, languid songs, she was at least as strong on swinging numbers and probably deserves more recognition for her amazing piano playing. Her album dedicated to Ray Charles, "Light Out of Darkness," is just fantastic and frequently swinging -- and she has an album called 'The Main Ingredient" that has great renditions of "Fever" and "Keepin' Out of Mischief Now."
