and why he was such a legendary drummer. Listen to the nonstop energy for over 18 minutes once he starts cooking. Drummers like this left puddles of sweat on the floor. Just think about doing this all under stage lights that are hot as hell.

During the 3rd verse that ride thing of "1 &2&" one the ride is really cool.
The way he controls the chaos at around 5:30 is something else. Same thing around 6:40
While everyone plays well, Gordon is the real talent on this tune.
Biggest issue is that the song quits going anywhere at around 6 minutes.
Hard to maintain focus on details after that. Just gets tedious.
