Any other fans of the Jam here?

If so, what's yr fave song(s)? I'm not sure how popular they were in the US.

Showing my age here, but I bought the newly released 'Sound Effects' way back when I got my first pay from my very first job. One of my biggest regrets is selling my vinyl collection when CD's were all the rage, but I got a used copy of 'Snap!' yesterday and I'm going to rebuild my collection.

My favourite Jam song has always been a toss up between 'Going Underground' and 'Start!'

And I have to admit that their most famous song 'That's Entertainment' is one of my faves as well. My daughter tells me that nowadays most people her age who say they like The Jam have only heard 'That's Entertainment' and nothing else.

Too many great songs to pick just one, but Down in a Tube Station at Midnight would have to be near the top of my list, too. The young RW thugs mentioned in the song are the predecessors of our young Magats.

These are the first two songs that jump into my brain. Then maybe Batman theme.

I still have the 45 of The Butterfly Collector.

I also really liked The Style Council. And I first heard Tracey Thorne via the Style Council too with the song Paris Match.
