(28,392 posts)Linda played with a lot of different people, Zevon, Browne, Eagles, Little Feat, even Randy Newman, Chuck Berry and Keith Richards....many more that I can't remember. She certainly never reached the levels that Taylor has experienced, but Linda had a similar impact on a lot of people back in the 70s. When music was played and not manufactured.

(72,496 posts)She is like Ella Fitzgerald in that her voice is a musical instrument.
Ms. Swift touches people too and I have heard that she is like Dolly in that
trying to help people is one of her goals.

She has an awesome body of work. I still get weak every time I hear Prisoner in Disguise.
And I never get tired of hearing Bonnie Raitt. The Old Gal had Song of the Year in 2023. And Just Like That. A genuine tearjerker. Taylor Swift was also nominated.
