Classical Music
Related: About this forumA great surprise!
Learned that my 10 year old grandson who lives near me is interested in studying violin, and maybe joiing chorus @ middle school, coming up!!! He refers to classical as 'my, Grandma Ellie's' music!!!
I think I'll write a thank you to my radio station, because he hears 'my' music when he's here. HOW GREAT is this???

I am grateful every day for the music my parents played. Much of it from the Columbia Record Club, and lots from the BSO and Boston Pops.
Ask me anything about the music of Leroy Anderson. Arthur Fiedler LOVED it.
One of the best gifts in the world. A lifetime of enjoyment.

The problem? I love Bluegrass. It would make my heart sing to hear him play a Vassar Clements, "high, lonesome" fiddle.
