Due to enormous turmoil at Cap Radio (Sacramento State) Sean's Saturday night opera program was dropped.
After a lot of hard work, Sean has returned as "Bianco's Opera Lounge" at Live365.
It's on right now at https://live365.com/station/Bianco-s-Opera-Lounge-a27807
Here's the upcoming schedule. I missed the Tiki Lounge, so I don't know what that is!
But until he can get full opera recordings lined up (imagine the copyright problems he had to overcome) the shows are his "Opera Potpourri" a stream of mostly well-known opera arias and overtures.
6 to 8pm The Tiki Lounge
8 to 11pm Bianco's Opera Lounge
Sunday 10/29
9am - rebroadcast of Saturday's Bianco's Opera Lounge
Friday 11/3 (rebroadcast of both Tiki Lounge and Bianco's Opera Lounge from 10/28)

Saturday 11/4 NEW SHOWS!!

(14,298 posts)Grew up in the Italian part of a city on the east coast.
Barber would play the opera on Saturday mornings. No doubt the MET.
I grew up with BSO and Pops broadcasts on FM.
Dad joined the Columbia Record Club.
Mom's absolute favorites were Brahms 4th symphony, Sibelius' Second Symphony, Largo from Xerces and the Dream Panotmime from Hansel and Gretel.
Thanks to the Boston Pops, I know every Leroy Anderson song. (Sleigh Ride, Typewriter Song, Blue Tango, Syncopated Clock, and so on)
I'll share my list of favorite arias sometime.
I loaded them onto the iPad. 𝄇

(14,298 posts)One grandmother made the strufoli rather large, about 3/4 inches in diameter, and the other grandmonther made the small ones. Since pictures on the internet are to different scales, I made a montage.
And I learned to make both! ("gravy," too)
Sfogliatelle are tough to make. Sam's Italian Deli in Fresno has them, and surprise, I found them in Trader Joe's recently, though TJ is a movable feast. "Stuff comes and goes at Trader Joe's"
