Verdi's Requiem.

There are other performances of this piece I love. From all I've heard, Jussi Bjorling, Leontyne Price, Fiorenza Cossotto would be my perfect line up , and now I can add Morris Robinson on Bass---

Here he is with Tamara Wilson (soprano) and they are both astounding.

Tamara Wilson deserves special mention.

Her libera me got me like ....

Alsop also does a great job of bringing forth the yearning and religiosity of the requiem. The youth choir was also more than up to the task. They added a kind of "Freshness" I really like.
