Measure for Measure
The Merchant of Venice
The Merry Wives of Windsor
A Midsummer Night's Dream
Much Ado About Nothing
Pericles, Prince of Tyre
The Taming of the Shrew
The Tempest
Twelfth Night
The Two Gentlemen of Verona

The Taming of the Shrew (which is actually horribly sexist) was also adapted as a Broadway musical, Kiss Me, Kate, in 1948. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Kiss_Me,_Kate

A send up of Shakespeare, Elizabethan times, and many modern sacred cows. Some might find the broader sitcom elements off-putting, but there are a lot of very clever things going on, too.

With James Cagney and Mickey Rooney. Hands down the best version. All done with Brooklyn accents.
