2. i had no idea there were 5. i knew of maria

mostly cuz i worked for her husband's construction company a couple lifetimes ago.
and i sorta knew there was another tall chief.

5. yeah, i fucked up when i lost that job.

i let the sexual harassment get to me. and i was also stupid enough to think i was just a token.
it was a really good family company, and they had a plan to move me up to management. like an idiot, i thought it was for the a.a. points. they believed in me more than i believed in myself.
i let them lay me off when the job wound down, instead of hanging on in a harder job.

would have been a different life. they built stuff all over the world. they built the sears tower, and big chunks of the deep tunnel.
they were super good to their people.

it was mostly his money that built her dance school.
he loved her quite fiercely.
