big batik with heat press images....eye in the sky

thought I'd do something a little wild and crazy using batik and heat pressing some images on the cloth

1. This is so beautiful. I just love it. It is radiating good energy!

2. That's a lot of work there, for the batik striping!

How did you manage that?

3. each little wiggly line is put on one at a time using a small tool that dribbles wax. one name for

the tool is tjanting tool which I believe is an Indonesian term. its a tad tedious but loads of fun lol

I don't think I can express how gorgeous I think that explosion of colour and dynamic motion is. Just amazing.

Without knowing how big it is, it's impossible for me to think what I would have that made into - shirt, wall hanging, what have you - but I would love it to death.
