A wee bunny. I traced it in my Lucida app and then painted it. (Original Post)

(120,833 posts)1. Nice! I have the Lucida app but haven't tried it yet.
How did you get the bunny to hold still?
Thanks, I'll be here all week...

(73,035 posts)3. The app requires a makeshift stand and lots of books to
raise and lower your paper. A bit of a pain, but worth it for the accurate drawing. It's limited to small pieces, though, which is a bummer.

(120,833 posts)5. I have an iPad stand that will do the job, but the drawing can't be bigger
than the iPad, unless it's done in sections. I set up the stand to see if it will work but haven't gotten around to doing anything with it yet. I normally do sketches for paintings using grids or transfer paper.

(73,035 posts)6. I used a cardboard box and added strips to lay the iPad on. The limitation
is really your height. You can't go higher than you can see and simultaneously reach the drawing surface.
I just love bunnies.
We used to have a lop eared one as a pet
