You did a great job with the partially lit aspens in the foreground, making them stand out dramatically against the dark reflection of the sky and the solid darkness of the background trees and building. I find the entire composition very appealing with the aspen trunks and branches running off all four edges of the canvas and your inclusion of the branches that aren’t in direct lighting. They make a nice pattern against the sky.

Your sky is an added focal point with the spread of the dark branches against the beautiful rich colors, which give it a blue, purple cast. The third focus is the very low darkly silhouetted trees and house at the bottom. It all looks like it’s standing out because the sky, even though dark is backlighting everything. It looks like it’s glowing.
