And, as always, you've got a great eye for shape and pattern.

And look for rocks.

A very comforting feel.

I'm not a professional but I have some notes:
The yellow under the bridge is a little too vibrant and chartreusey for the color scheme.
The arch of the bridge is asymmetrical which detracts from the impressionistic play of light and color near it.
The upper third of and left quarter of the painting are well-observed and gorgeously rendered.

All in all, it is quite honestly a beautiful painting with significant eye-appeal. Well done!

You're right about the yellow/green under the bridge. The actual color was a bit more subtle. I may go back in and tone it down.

And it doesn't look as bright in the flesh. It's so hard to accurately reproduce a painting in a photo. No matter how hard you try.

If you do you lose the important factor of you in your work.

Your composition is really wonderful. The trees and shrubs on either side almost look like they’re parting to give you a glimpse of one of those magically enchanted places that seem to thrive away from people. It’s a wild place with only the stone bridge to indicate any human factor. The light is that almost surreal over lighting that makes the greens and yellows just glow.

I really like the interplay of flatness and depth that you’ve rendered with the bridge and the canopy overhead. It draws you in as if it were a lit cave beckoning to admire and wonder about and in it.

It’s a warm and happy painting of a special spot in the woods.
