...and I was going like... "I did all of the airbrush graphics on the live actor costumes," as in this:
...and this...
Marlene Stewart was the costume designer, and I had already worked with her on her earliest ever Madonna stuff, and her first movie as costume designer, "Body Rock."
I did a bunch of stuff for Marlene, on movies like "Enemy of the State," "Batman and Robin," "The Phantom," and HBO's "Tales from The Crypt - Episode: Collection Completed."

I did airbrush costume graphics stuff until it was no longer needed, because of CGI.
And now, if I never did another airbrush graphic, I'd be happy...because I can do it digitally!
Problem being...the movie fucks don't need ME to do what they can do digitally.
The last movie I worked on for costume graphics was The Hannah Montana Movie, which was like, 2010, but I did work on copying all of the graphics for Bette Midler's witch costume for a live stage performance like 5 years ago or so...there is a youtube video of that somewhere (on youtube).

(53,410 posts)Of course all that is now CGI. I did a couple of game boxes cover art.
The industry was terrible to artists though. I dont miss that part. I did enjoy the artwork part of it though. It was fun because the art director liked my work so much that he would just give me a general idea of what he wanted and let me do what I wanted.
It was sculptures mostly of dragon parts and skulls. Some of the work was very Medieval fantasy. Fun times. I was the most popular mom in the neighborhood! The kids loved it!
I might dig my portfolio up and post some of the work.
