I love the eccentricity of his cigarette with its long ash dangling from his lips.
His paintings are so sublime. I would love to see them in person.

Monet's property and house in Giverny in Normandy is about an hour train ride from Paris and pure heaven to visit- the charming house, the bridges, ponds and breathtaking assortment of flowers, plants and natural marvels.
For anyone interested in art I can't recommend seeing Giverny in person high enough.
Wish I had checked it out earlier but at least I saw it one beautiful summer. The Rodin Museum in Paris is super for a visit, along with other plenty of other collections and sites.

What painstaking work that Rodin did.
Im so glad to see these films! Thanks to a forward looking filmographer. A minor thing, but wouldnt it be nice if he showed the artwork in progress as it was when he took the film?
