The way you painted the fountain with the spray splashing and disturbing the water causing the reflections to break up is really good! Youre doing some outstanding work on your skies and water in your recent paintings. Your depictions of architecture are very charming, as always.

In truth, I do wish to learn their way of doing it. Aside from the cachet involved, the light just never looks right if you dont do it that way. But with this series, its meant to be an on-location journal so i tried to reserve whites with negative painting, but when I lost them the pen came out. And actually, I think it explained the falling water perfectly. :grin:
