Related: About this forumTomorrow, I'll paint out my lid map. :) Much heavier than my little travel one. Hoping this one is
going to work out as my couch palette.

(53,410 posts)Ive recently been using paper plates which are working pretty well. Its very easy to hold them in one hand while painting with the other, and after Im finished painting, the left over colors dry and I can re-use the plates again because the dry paint on them strengthens the plate. So each plate can be used multiple times. And, of course theyre super cheap!
I like your box. Itll work well since you paint outdoors.

(53,410 posts)For me, because of my tendonitis I cant move much equipment. Anything I might want to paint in the outdoors I just take a bunch of photos to get the details and then make up my own version.

(73,035 posts)put together this little kit. I have that new palette, a collapsible bucket, another brush case, and a few other items if I want to do a larger piece. No outside easel yet, but I've almost always held my work anyway.
More palette pics to come later.
