You have all the details needed and the colors are bright and lovely. I think you fixed the Cedar tree so it looks good now.

I love the mommy owl’s eyes! They exude pure love on her baby. I like that you added the moon too. It’s really beautiful.

so I'm not sure if it possible, but if you could interject more expression into the owls it might be more comparable..(I just looked at a bunch of parent reading to child pics...to see what aspects stood out...and it was usually the childs delight)

If it's water color, doing more to it might just make it look muddy. It's fine the way it is. Nice job.

8. Maybe extend the lighter blue in the sky to the left side of the paper keeping the halo

Try it on a scrap of paper and put it on the painting. If you like the addition, then do it to the painting.
