Your colors are much more subtle, and it works really well. The soft yellow and grey of the background and surface on which the camera is sitting make the black of the camera just pop! And The beautiful liquid like reflection brings out the black and metallic aspects of the camera.

Great job! It shows a growing confidence in your wielding of paint and brush strokes. Somehow you can take a mechanical utalitarian object and turn it into a charming depiction of a still life. Only artists can do that!

It's always encouraging to receive positive feedback. I'm working on several more in this series. Next, I may paint some old radios. Or...who knows? Any ideas of what objects to paint?
