Do you show your students how to look at paintings and pictures? Just having them look at each part of the painting and seeing how it looks next to other elements? Might as well start training their eyes to see consciously.

is so tight, but my paintings do get used with kids who are freaking out about making mistakes. I show them mistakes in my paintings and tell them that even though I messed up, in the end it was OK.
