(23,286 posts)When I taught full time it seemed every night I brought home work and was working on lesson plans etc. Plus I had IEPs. I like substituting better now and work special 1-2 week assignments from time to time.

(73,041 posts)of being the classroom teacher. Less money, but more life. I do plan lessons now and then, but I am there more to help manage the group and check in with kiddos during lessons.
