Is this totally creepy or what?

Yesterday I placed and order from Blick that included a tube of Golden alizarin crimson paint. About 10 minutes later I got an email from Michael's with a special offer on Golden alizarin crimson paint. Talk about an invasion of privacy!

1. Yes, it is. It shows how thoroughly intertwined all this stuff is. And we think we have privacy?

On his way to a store, he stopped for gas and the pump media monitor immediately started belt advertisements.
No more weather reports on those things. They're not even subtle or sneaky about it.

we thought would happen by the 2050s when we'd probably be long dead, but unfortunately is here. Besides everything else happening, the belt incident as with yours are unsettling - I mean how do you fight the intrusion when facial recognition isn't necessary but just Google and a bank card. We haven't seen any more targeted ads after complaining and hope there's maybe some sort of do not target list when we slip and default to Google.

But then again for art supplies, I go directly to the stores. For general shopping, we wuse DuckDuckgo that doesn't track or store personal history https://duckduckgo.com/
