So, I was going through my art stuff from days gone by....

Here are a couple sketches I made for Fashion Drawing assignments.

A self portrait done totally in dots. I was 19 and showing my angst over the assignment!

A logo design I did for some friends of mine who were in a band.

A more recent pencil sketch of Kinzua Reservoir In Pennsylvania.

Trying to get back into doing this stuff and can’t decide what medium I want to pursue! So I mess around on my drawing table and shuffle things around.

Why are you trying to limit yourself to one kind of medium? Use them all! Each medium will bring something unique to the drawings that the others can’t do.

Recently I’ve decided to use prismacolor pencils to learn how to blend them. My drawings came out much better than I expected! It’s exciting when you surprise yourself!

I have zero drawing/art ability so I'm always extremely impressed by people who can draw faces as well as you do. I have a cousin who's now 76 years old, but who could do pencil sketches of people just as good as you and she became a court room sketch artist for many years. Covered some well-known trials in California and even won an emmy once.

I especially like the first one.
Great realism.
I feel I could hold a conversation with her.
Is she single?

You have talent. I am so jealous. I cannot draw a stick figure without it looking ridiculous. And I have family members who can draw and paint. Apparently I did not get the art gene. Darn it!

I don't know where you live, but if anything is blooming right now, go out and find something pretty and start drawing.

Have you ever considered doing political caricatures? I have some I'd love to see done and apply captions to but, sadly, I cannot draw worth a damn. If you just want to have some fun for starters maybe consider drawing one of an over-bloated William Barr sitting on a toilet. I can do the rest. LOL!!!

Whatever direction you choose please be sure to share your new creations with us in the near future. I'm sure they'll be as impressive as these, if not more so.
