Happy Tuesday! Here's Guf, a posable polymer doll, one of my first 13 pieces. I had no idea what I was doing, but was asked by one of my 5 sisters, way back 30 years ago, to make her a witch doll. I'd never made a doll, but I did it! The funny thing is, I made 13 pieces, and then a group of women asked me to be in a show called Doppelgangers in Benicia, CA - still have the poster for the show. They were all witches, and I had no idea, and I'd made 13 pieces for the show! They then asked me to become an initiate. I did, but rejected the rigid schedule of training as it reminded me of catechism so did not become a member, and moved away a bit after that. I basically reject organized religion, but I digress....

I had just discovered sculpting in polymer and I think he was my 6th piece or so. I hadn't sculpted since high school and was in a creative explosion after my first daughter's birth. I've always been into Middle Earth fantasy!
