There was a mill in the town I grew up in that looked similar. I like your snow trees, too, the aspen one especially.

The Packard plant is still standing. They're tearing a bunch of it down, but plan on keeping some of it. Thankfully!

I got half way into painting this and almost gave up on it. But sometimes it pays to slog on.


I feel that way most times I start a drawing. It looks like nothing, or at least nothing salvageable, then all of a sudden it starts to actually look like what I'm trying to draw!
