Here’s a link: https://postimages.org/
Just pick a picture off your camera roll. And then copy the second line, paste that in the subject space of your post, and the picture should appear. If any questions you need to when you have tried it

Then open a free account at a photo hosting service like Postimage, https://postimages.org and upload your photo. Postimage will create a direct link that you can copy and paste into your DU post, et voila! We look forward to seeing your work.

Very lovely!

When you post from postimages, when you copy the link, hit the link icon above, then paste your link in there. Then you can preview your post to ensure it's posted correctly. It took me a few times too, and once I really blew it.

Welcome!!!

Maybe I'll take a picture of my latest anti-tRump earrings and bumper stickers which I made this last weekend.

It sounds a bit less complicated than postimage.

Create an account.

Click on "new post." (Upper left hand in my browser)

Drag an image from your computer into the window that shows up.

Wait a few seconds (I haven't figured out how long) - and then right click the image, select "open image in new tab"

Go to the new tab that opens up - if the URL ends in .jpg, just copy the URL and put it in your post.

(If it doesn't end in .jpg, wait a bit more and try the right click again on your image on imgur. I'm not sure why there is a delay, but when you open the image in a new tab right away sometimes isn't a .jpg link. To render properly on DU just by putting the link in the text, the last part of the link has to be an image link (.jpg, .png, etc.))

I think I'll need to open DU in order to do this since I need to read the directions, step by step. I am a very visual learner. I'll need to use my terrible, old tablet to read and this newer one that I am using now to practice.

Except that the description of putting the image from postimage in the post takes a lot more playing around than I have ever had to do with imgur.
