Happy Tuesday! Another thing I love to do is to sculpt on glass bottles. This bottle was a commissioned piece, on an antique whiskey bottle the collector sent me, for her son who carries it as a flask. Aves Apoxie Sculpt on glass bottle, painted with acrylics and sealed with crystal clear epoxy. I love blue ringed octopuses, so here's one with a carp. He says he 'releases the Kraken' when he drinks from it.

Anyone can do it! It's a non toxic two part epoxy that adheres to literally everything. If you want to try it, I can send you the Beginner's Guide.

I've made Magic Mirrors, hand size and wall size, art dolls, full sculptures, dragons, lots of bas reliefs!

Try it! It has a one to three hour cure time, so work in layers. Plan it out. I often draw on the bottles I sculpt on first with Sharpies. Not always, but sometimes. One can also mix it, and put it in the freezer to slow the cure time and use it later, especially if you get interrupted. I've been known to put full sculptures in the freezer if interrupted at the wrong time. It can be sanded, drilled, cut, carved into, once it's cured. I believe they have my guide somewhere on the website. Erin asked me for it years ago (one of the owners and an artist).
