Joy has passed. I’ve never painted a dog and still have a struggle with my cat.
But when your grands cry…. You find a way even if you fake it.

I hope it helps the grandkid(s) recover some. Losing a pet is hard for anyone. When my pets passed I was devastated, didn't matter how old I was. I hope they can heal in a reasonable time.

5. It's a hard lesson for kids

It’s hard for us, too. We have them in our lives, love and care for them and they steal our hearts and gone too soon. Let them grieve for a bit before introducing a new puppy..I’m no expert but they will bond with another when the time is right, I’m sure. You’re a good Gmom to give them this momento
