Very interesting....while I don't know her, I did grow up with her husband back in the 70's. She's got some serious artistic creds...her products are in some pretty prestigious museums and libraries in the US and Europe.

(18,019 posts)In my art college typography class we had a two special mini classes at a book binders! I got to make two book - single signatures.
Then 20+ yrs later when I lived in Brooklyn the Central Library which I was blessed to live near-ish by had an exhibit on Artist (Unique) Books where the artist uses the various book forms from single fold, to multi signatures, scrolls, acordian, etc as their substrate/canvas.
Another about 10 yr later when a B&N was going out of business I was going to the craft section off & on. On the last day ~ as if it was waiting just for me bc it was eye level smack dab in the middle was a book on Artist books!
I bought it.
Then took out library books on creative book binding. I relearned, and learned new styles. So I've done a few small ones. Unfortunately I may have lost most in an urgent move.
I do plan to do a few modest ones this year.
I just remembered actually my first bookmaking was in Art HS! Did an acordian book. 🥰 TY, Mrs. Winston.
