Discussion-'Fanserve' (NSFW)

Anyone up for a discussion of fanserve? Paradice for Mankind, bane of exsistence, or just "stay away from me you perv."

To be honest, I have had several shows that I would have like to enjoy ruined. A good(bad) example would be "High School of the Dead". It start with a great horror show vibe, and then it does stuff like this. Youtube, age restricted.

So, sorry, I never made it though a single episode. On the other hand, I have to wonder if all the shows that I have watched have make me a little numb to the problem. My Sister-in-Law, a fellow fan, tells me that the OP for "Engaged to the Unidentified" is kind of 'fanservee'.

Personaly, I find the stills at the beginning a little 'cheesecakey', but doesn't really seem like fanservce. But like I said, maybe I've seen too much.

So I toss it to you, any thought on the subject?

what works in a Rom-comedy might not in a Action series.

And of course it doesn't even enter the equation for Hentai.
