I love my Marxist fire department

It is supported by property taxes. The more your property is worth, the more you pay. (From each according to his abilities.)

They don't send anyone out unless there is a fire or other emergency. (To each according to his needs.)

Yes, the more your property is worth the more you pay. But in my state everyone pays property taxes at the same rate. Which would equal a flat tax for income. You back that?

Variable rates would make the tax much more progressive.
