I have been working on separating her clothes and have been surprised to find so many clothes with Made in the USA label. The made in China clothes are the ones I donated and the made in USA has good material and have held up better. I plan to have a vintage clothing sale of her clothes.

I have stocked up on pillow cases, a few sheets, towel sets, some real measuring cups, all stuff made here before 1990, when material was thick.
and cooking stuff was sturdy.
Latest purchase was flour sack kitchen towels, big ones, I am saving 4 of the 7 to make pie and bread dough on, like my Grandmother used to use.

Sadly, even places like Land's End and LL Bean are selling much thinner material in their products, so I have quit buying from them.

They were made before 1999. I want to find more pants like them, and I can't find anything. All the women's slacks are thin and not warm enough for winter. Even though live in an area that gets very cold, I can't find cold weather clothing. I want to try things on, not order them from a catalog. If anyone here has any suggestions, please let me know!

I am sorry LL Bean has decided to go cheap. I buy things for my husband from that company. He will let me know if he does not like what I get.

No credit need be mentioned either. Do you have the time to post it there? I'm busy with cleanup/repairs after our water pipe froze/burst Sunday. Just dropped in to quickly check things.
