Anybody heard anything about "The People's Summit"......

in late June in Chicago? One of the sponsors is National Nurses United the first big union endorsement for Bernie Sanders. Sounds like it might be a place to discuss and lobby for things you can't lobby for on DU.

in New York. Find it at www.leftforum.org. It's 20-22 May at John Jay College in Manhattan.
Left Forum is DEFINITELY a place to discuss and lobby for things you cannot on DU!
HUNDREDS of lectures/workshops on nearly anything you can think of. And then there is the comradery of getting to hang with so many folks who lean further and further to the left than any political party does, or did in the US!

we are having the Green Convention (nominating a candidate to run for President) in early August up the road from me here in Houston (at University of Houston). I think I'm going to sign up. Who knows who may turn up and there is little travel cost for me - just a few miles in my car.
