I'm almost certain I've spotted numerous errors in this article... however, I'm not 100%, and would dearly appreciate other's views on it. This would help "keep me honest" and potentially help some missguided individuals step away from the tea-party-way-of-"thinking".
Thanks!

(18,219 posts)you are asking about. When I click that link, I am denied access. Can you copy and paste the things you have issues with? Or if it is an article, can you link to it?
Or is it just that one line that you quoted?

You might conclude with noting that the article is chock full of conjecture about the consequences of a default on banks and markets while not even mentioning the nation's biggest creditor - the Social Security Trust Fund.
that the author seems to ignore the principle of the debt and only addresses the interest, for some unkown reason. I suspect he's trying to conflate the two...
