The article says that Japan is not providing any military support and will continue humanitarian support to refugees. I wonder if public outrage will spur Japan to get more involved. I do not know what Japan's military capabilities are, however.

I just hope that ISIS has finally p*ssed off the wrong enemy and are looking at their own doom.

particularly countries like Japan that have almost zero involvement in the ME, the argument that they are just the natural result of Western actions thus we get what we deserve dissipates.

Whatever the cause of ISIS's formation, they are here now, and they are clearly indiscriminate in their actions, and I do believe they are one of the few entities that simply cannot be reasoned or negotiated with. I didn't think that about the Taliban, or even AQ. ISIS seems to me a fairly unique entity.
