Friday Night Rum Buzz. Ask me anything.

Two shots to get the party started. Now a Bolero #2: Rum, brandy, orange juice, lime juice, and simple syrup. Yummy!

Relaxing after a hella week in clinic. Looking forward to a three day weekend…

I love you all…

Maybe a slight lean in Huey Lewis’s direction. He’s a staunch, die-hard Dem.

Huey has Ménière’s disease and can no longer perform.

But he and the band released a lot of good music over the years.

3. Had two Old Fashions and enjoyed them both, though I seldom drink anything other than wine.

Remembering the fallen this Memorial Day…and remembering my visit to Colleville-sur-Mer and the American cemetery above Omaha Beach.

Although my father, uncles, and father-in-law all served in the Army in WWII, I know no one buried there.

Still, standing on the manicured green grass with those perfectly aligned rows of white crosses and Stars of David in respectful silence was quite emotional for me.

It’s about sacrifice for country that our current Commander-in-Chief will never understand.

Cheers 🍷and Peace!

onto the carpet and then pour an entire box of salt on it in hopes of limiting the damage, and you happen to have a large white cat who decides to roll around in the salt.
Any suggestions for ingredients for a new cocktail called a Salty Cat?

Shake two ounces of gin, one ounce of crème de banane, half an ounce of simple syrup, and a dash of orange bitters with ice. Then pour into the chilled glass with a salted rim.

Enjoy, chére Madame! 🍸

If my mama catches us doing the Rum Buzz, mama would just pitch a fit
But I can't help myself, it's much bigger than me
If I were you, I'd hang onto a Rum Buzz man like me

I received a very generous pour Gin n Tonic at a friends place tonight.
