The DU Lounge
Related: Culture Forums, Support ForumsIf you need some happiness today...This is 2 hours of Billy Strings playing with his dad.
This is one of those things that if you have the time...it's worth a listen. By the time you're done, you'll be in a good mood.
Billy Strings' biological father died of a heroin overdose when Billy was 2 years old. Terry Barber raised Billy as his own, and taught him to play guitar. Terry Barber is a fantastic picker in his own right, and Billy's love for the man he calls "Dad" comes through in this.
I think this is heartwarming...If you need something like this today, give it a listen.
