Turns out I hated vinegar.
Veggies are great without it. Who knew.

(40,839 posts)A friend uses El Tapitio, w/o vinegar, & turns out I like hot sauce just fine!! In fact I go through a bottle every couple of months. 🌶️

(4,430 posts)My horse would race to the asparagus growing along the banks and eat it like candy.
One day I saw the asparagus before he did, tied him to a stump and tried raw wild asparagus for the first time in my life. It is delicious, I think much better than cooked.
My horse was much smarter than I was then.
Still miss that horse.
